ADD YOUR REVIEW OF INDONESIAN EMBASSY

NR You can cover the pictures as soon you start praying and take them out as soon you are done ( with any kind of sheet, trash bags black, etc) because my brothers where there is a picture , specially a statue , namaz does not takes place , so whoever will initiate this act of good will get the reward as long the prayer will be taking place, or just raise the voice if you cannot do anything.

★★★★☆ I have been to the embassy to pray Jummua. It is very convenient if you work close by DuPont Circle and the staff are friendly.
I went their twice; First time the khutba was in English and second time it was in Indonesian.
Like mentioned in the earlier review, there are statues and pictures in the prayer area. That's why I started going to the Islamic Center masjid. Posted on August 29, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I use to pray Jummah here when I was staying close to Dupont Circle. When you arrive outside the embassy, be sure to hit the buzzer so the security guards can buzz open the gate. After you walk through the door, be ready for a standard security screening and sign in, as you are entering the embassy. All the workers and security are very nice and friendly. Then proceed downstairs into the basement. Jummah is held in a very large, spacious and beautiful room. The only drawback is that there are many statues of creatures and portraits of humans on the walls in front of you while praying. Many people have raised concerns and objections to this, but unfortunately they are not removed for jummah. Posted on January 21, 2011 |

★★★★☆ A good place to go for jummah if you're working in DuPont Circle or anywhere downtown near 20th and K but not close enough to GW. Posted on January 9, 2007 |
