SUNNI Salahuddin Trust is well-suited to givers of sadaqah (charity) and zakat (annual alms). We use your donations to perform charity work of a nature encouraged in the Qur'an and by the words and deeds of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The types of charitable work we seek to perform include: Provide food and other basic necessities to the poor, Provide training and related support to help the poor better. themselves and escape poverty, Educate the public about Islam and Islamic charity efforts, and aid carefully-chosen other public charities that perform similar work. Our first priority is to help those who are in the greatest need, especially those who have found themselves in unfortunate circumstances through no fault of their own. Our second priority is to create programs that help people help themselves by providing tools and support that enable the ambitious and hard-working to better themselves and escape poverty. Our third priority is to provide educational materials and resources to foster public understanding on the nature of Islam - not for the purposes of evangelizing, but to promote better relations between Muslims and non-Muslims.
