The Islamic Academy of Burlington County was officially founded in September of 2008 and was registered with the state of New Jersey Department of Education as a private school. The formalized school was the natural progression of what had been a home schooling network beginning in July 2005. The 2016-17 academic year is expected to began with 120 registered students, 23 full-time & part-time teachers, as well as many volunteers. The school is currently offering a program that includes PreK and goes up to the 11th grade.
